DESIGN
Books are often judged by their covers. Products are often judged by their packaging.
Books are often judged by their covers. Products are often judged by their packaging.
Let's be honest, we have all bought a product at one time or another because it 'looked nicer' than its competitors. With certain markets being so heavily saturated, the decision about what product to buy has never been so dependent on a product’s packaging to influence shopping behaviour. That's why we design packaging that strikes the balance between attractiveness, uniqueness and effectiveness.
What You Can See
Both you and the customer see the completed product with all the bells and whistles - the fruits of our labour. It's okay to feel like a proud parent - I know we do most of the time! The final product packaging can vary from boxes to bags and everything in between, but no matter the type of packaging the process remains the same. However, we don’t apply a one size fits all approach, we recognise that each packaging project needs to be uniquely tailored to suit both its contents and its consumer.

What You Can't See
Just because you can't see it, does that mean it didn't happen? Well, in the case of doing homework and cleaning the dishes, yes I suppose it does. But in the case of packaging, no it really doesn't. A lot goes on behind the scenes that often go unnoticed by the end consumer. It is these unseen actions, such as considering the most environmentally sustainable yet functional route that ensures the optimal user experience when interacting with the end product.

All packaging projects are different but the core process remains the same. From discovery and research to design and print preparation, we follow a robust process to ensure you get the best packaging from concept to completion.
Discovery
What kind of product are you selling? What is its purpose? Who is your target market? These are just some of the factors we consider during the discovery phase in order to figure out what will perform best for you. It gives us a clear pathway to begin our research.
Design
The research and strategy phases directly influence the design. What will resonate with your target audience? Your brand and product needs to be visually engaging to compete against competitors. Your packaging should reflect your brand as well as your core messaging.
Print Preparation
There is nothing worse than producing a unique, visually engaging design and to not print it like it was intended to. We make sure all artwork is prepared for print and ready for handoff to allow for the smoothest transition possible from screen to press.
Is good packaging really that important?
In short, yes. Packaging provides a connection between the user and your brand. It is more than just a protective layer shielding your product from harm, it also greatly enhances your consumers experience.
Packaging is a silent salesperson. It's an opportunity to change your products perception with the consumer, a chance to add value and to make sustainable choices for your brand.
Sustainable packaging has never been more important. Consumers are becoming increasingly more environmentally conscious. They expect that the products they buy are packaged in a sustainable way. A lot of time this effects their final product choice. This is why we have a range of sustainable options available that don’t sacrifice the aesthetics of your packaging.
But don't just take our word for it, check out the statistics below.
